Dubai Weekly Team

Al Mamzar Beach is a beautiful place in Dubai. Moreover, it has fine sands and clean, transparent water. To relax, I prefer to go there and the beach is one part of a very huge park. Many trees and grass grow around. You have the choice of swimming, playing, or picnicking.  It’s an ideal place for both families and friends who miss the sun and the sea. I will share my knowledge and experiences to help you understand why this beach is a must-visit destination.

Mamzar Beach is located in the northeastern part of Dubai, close to the boundary of Sharjah. The Mamzar Beach Park is a huge area of 106 hectares which is part of the bigger Al Mamzar. The beach is located in the area of Al Mamzar, which is known for its calm waters and beautiful views from the most loyal surfers around the globe.

Although unlike other Dubai beaches, there is a small fee to enter Al Mamzar, Beach Park. The entrance fees were as follows during my last visit:

  1. Cars: 30 AED (about 8 USD) per vehicle
  2. Individuals: 5 AED (about 1.4 USD) per person
  3. Children under 2 years old: Free entry

Through these entrance fees were raised, Beach Park maintenance and other operations of the park are still aided which makes a point for the overall good. Will your time and money spent be justified in the end? The answer is for sure, yes.

Al-Mamzar Beach Timings

The beach is open daily, but the operational hours could slightly change depending on the season. The park is typically in operation at these times:

  • Sunday through Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM

Mamzar Beach Photos

Although it is substandard, I can explain what you can see in a common picture of Mamzar Beach. Therefore, the swimming area, do not forget, is what comes to mind when we are talking about Beach, which has a pure white sand coast and clear light blue water you have never seen before.

A lot of pictures show the coast with palm trees here and there. The park has a big green area that the eco-friendly community utilizes for family picnics and relaxation. Many photos show children enjoying themselves in different activities such as swimming in the pool, riding the train, and playing at the playground.

Al Mamzar Beach Chalet

Mamzar Beach Park is the only beach where you get chalets to rent. It is one thing that makes it stand out from others. These small but well-equipped houses are perfect for a family or a group that needs to stay in the house longer so they can enjoy some weeks at the beach and have some good rest. A chalet has basic amenities, most rooms provide a stunning view of the sea (other units may vary).

With the announcement of the Municipal Council, it has become clear that in order to rent a chalet you’ll need to apply either through a book online feature or go to the municipality office.
