Electra Park is located in Abu Dhabi, so there are tall buildings around it. Many people express this park as they only go there to regenerate their lost energy. Despite its relatively small area of 3.9 acres, the park is the home of urban imperialists and the fortress, with colored playgrounds, a small mosque, and avenues for walking.

Many visitors spend their time with their loved ones as well as enjoying picnics at the park during the sunset.

Things You Can Do

  • Playground & Sports: The kids will be able to make use of small play areas which will have slides and swings to play on them.
  • Fitness & Walking: There are paths specially built for jogging and walking in the park. You can also practice some yoga or do an exercise routine on the grass.
  • Picnic & Relaxation: The park has many trees some of which are overshadowing the benches, perfect for you. The lawns are also picnic grounds, in fact, families occupy these green areas to have their meals. Parents find the benches a perfect spot.
  • Clean and Family-Friendly: The park has many bins such that you are unlikely to come across any garbage on the ground or at the park.
  • Small Mosque: The mosque is a very serene place of worship where the believers come to pray in silence.

How to Get to Electra Park

This park is located on Electra Street, Abu Dhabi, in between Hamdan Street and Al Mina Street. You can find the park’s location on Google Maps. It is near the city of Abu Dhabi, just a 5–10-minute drive from the park.

  • By Bus: Using the bus is an unusually simple and convenient way of travel which also saves you a fair amount of money. The nearest bus station is called “Zayed 1st St / Eletkra Park,” and it is located on the south side of the Khor Al Bateed. Many buses are available here, such as Bus numbers 40, 44, 52, and 56. The app of Google Maps or any other app like it is the most easily using mode to find the bus route.
  • Bus 40: It is the bus that travels the park from Al Muntazah and Al Maryah. It makes the stop at Electra garden.
  • Bus 44: A bus that runs across Al Muzoun and Zayed Port which disembarks at Electra garden.
  • Bus 52: A bus running between the Sowwah Square and the Tabreed and stop at Park.
  • Bus 56: The way the bus traveling between Al Muntazah and Zayed Port looks like, according to the plan, it should be the one stopping.
  • By Car: If you drive, particularly use Hamdan Street or Al Mina Road for that matter. Car parking is the form of parking which is enforced only on the streets in this neighborhood, and it tends to attract many parked cars, especially at night or on days when people are off work. Arriving early or getting a bus will be easier than using a car.

This park is an attractive place for families. The play zone is replete with swings, slides, and a safe playground for kids. Teenagers, for their part, can make use of basketball or soccer facilities on the grass. It is a very good place to cool off with the family and the individuals that people like.
